  • End-to-end encryption. Your browser encrypts every file before it leaves. We cannot read it.
  • No account to download. People open the link, and only you sign in.
  • Passwords and secrets. A password on any share, and secrets that disappear once opened.
  • Your links on every device. With an encryption password, sent links open on all your devices and your team's.
  • A file request. A link people upload to, which you can add to your own website.
  • Command line and AI assistants. Send from a terminal, or from an assistant running on your computer.

Questions

Do the people I send files to need an account?
No. They open the link, and their browser downloads and decrypts the file. Only you need an account, and the Free plan needs no card.
Can you see my files?
No. Your browser encrypts each file before upload, and the key lives in the part of the link after the #, which a browser does not send to a server. We store the encrypted file, its size and a few counters. The security page lists the few cases where a key passes through our servers, each one something you choose.
Where is my data stored?
In the EU on every plan. Paid plans keep files with OVHcloud in Germany, with Cloudflare R2 under EU jurisdiction as a standby. The Free plan keeps them on our own servers in the EU, and the API and the database run in the EU too. Enterprise can use its own storage in the region it chooses.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Nothing is charged, ever. The app refuses more until the limit resets, something expires or is deleted, or you change plan. We email you when storage passes 80%, and when a day's downloads run out; people opening your links are then asked to try again later, until the next day. Fair use applies to every plan: see the Terms.
Can I buy more ID checks?
Yes. On any plan with ID checks, the workspace owner can buy more from the ID checks page, at €3 a check in packs of 10, VAT included. They are used once the month's own are, belong to the workspace and never expire. Checks you have not used can be refunded within 14 days; see the Refund policy.
Is there a free trial?
Studio and Business have a 14-day free trial for an account that has never had a plan. Paddle takes your card at the start and charges nothing until the trial ends; cancel before then from Plan and billing and you pay nothing. If you cancel, the links you made during the trial stop working when it ends, and a web address you added is removed; everything from before the trial stays. During the trial, storage and emailed links stay at Pro's limits; the plan's own limits open with your first payment.
Can my AI assistant send files on the Free plan?
Yes, from your own computer. The command-line tool and its local connection for Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor work on every plan, within that plan's limits. The online connection for Claude and ChatGPT on the web, API keys and Slack come with Studio.
Is it priced per seat?
No. Seats are part of the plan: one on Free and Pro, 10 on Studio, 25 on Business. Storage and limits are shared by the workspace. A larger company is an Enterprise plan, agreed with us.
What happens if I move to a smaller plan?
Nothing is deleted. Links already sent stay available until they expire, and team members stay; new shares follow the smaller plan's limits. File requests beyond the smaller plan stay open to senders for 14 days, and a web address of your own keeps working for 30; we email you before either stops.
How do billing, VAT and cancelling work?
Paddle is our merchant of record: it runs the checkout, sends the invoices and handles VAT, and the price you see is the price you pay. Change plan or cancel at any time from Plan and billing. A bigger plan starts at once and you pay the difference; a smaller one also starts at once, and what is left of the bigger plan becomes credit on your next bills. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the time you paid for. A yearly plan costs ten months.
Can I get a refund?
You can withdraw from a plan in its first 14 days, with one button under Plan and billing, and your payment is refunded in full. Deleting your account refunds the unused part of the current period, and a charge made in error is refunded in full. Otherwise a period that has started is not refunded, unless the law where you live gives you that right. The refund policy sets it out.
Who runs Share by DeltaBreen?
DeltaBreen Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 826627, VAT number IE4835019QH), in Gorey, Co. Wexford, Ireland. Support comes from the people who build and run the service.
What happens if you ever close?
We would tell you by email at least six months before, as the Terms promise, and refund any paid time that runs past the closing date. A share is a copy of files you already have, so your originals never depend on us; what people sent you can be downloaded from your Inbox until then.

Prices include VAT. Paid plans are billed by Paddle, our merchant of record, under our terms and refund policy; the privacy policy says what we keep. Enterprise is agreed by contract: contact@deltabreen.eu.
